Welcome to Reaching Our Community's Kids!

"It makes me feel that somehow, in my own small way, I change the world – one hug, one smile, one child at a time."
- Judge Belinda A. Loveland

R.O.C.K. was created in 2003 by judge and attorney Belinda A. Loveland.  Her goal was to provide after-school and summer activities to improve the overall social and emotional well-being of children and to help each child learn the skills necessary to make good choices in difficult situations.

"I chose to step outside the traditional dictates of a judge and an attorney in order to become more involved with the social issues facing our community.  I want to be there to be the one to inspire kids, to help them succeed in school, choose a career or interest in their life and watch them pursue it. In order to do that, they must have self-esteem and confidence, identify their personal goals and determine ways to reach them." -Judge Belinda Loveland

Our programs are designed to make a difference in the lives of juveniles.  Our purpose is to receive and maintain funds to further the goal of implementing prevention and early intervention initiatives for at-risk children of Dallas county.  Such initiatives have included providing the resources for every student to seek secondary education, matching local mentors with troubled youths, and advocating a drug free life.  In addition to these programs, we also provide educational scholarships to deserving high school graduates that have attended the program to assist them in achieving higher education.
